In India Today Conclave 2025, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy spoke on many issues including Hindi language and guarantee scheme. CM Revanth Reddy said that there should be no force to learn the language. Hindi is the most spoken language, but it is not a national language.
Questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP, he said, ‘Modiji is trying so much for Hindi, but what did you do for Telugu? Telugu was removed from the Civil Service Examination. There should be a Hindi option, there is no problem, but we should not be imposed.
Reddy said that college has languages ​​like French, German, Sanskrit. He who wants to learn, he will learn, but should not be forced.
Guarantee Scheme and ‘Revdi Culture’
On the ongoing debate on guarantee scheme and free facilities, Telangana CM said that this is a race and everyone has to participate in it. He said, ‘Our guarantee plans raise questions, but when Modiji guaranteed in Delhi, no question was asked. Something else is said in election speeches and something else in closed rooms. Guarantee and Revdi culture should be discussed openly before ‘One Nation, One Election’.

BJP targeted for delivery
Revanth Reddy also launched a scathing attack on BJP over delivery. He alleged that the BJP wants to take revenge on South India through delimitation.
He said, ‘Parliamentary seats will be redistributed on the basis of population and BJP wants to reduce the representation of the states of the south on this pretext. The BJP does not have much influence in South India, so it wants to take political advantage through delivery. Reddy demanded the central government to call an all party meeting on this issue and said that there should be open talk on it.

Gujarat Model vs Telangana Model
Revanth Reddy compared Prime Minister Modi’s Gujarat model to a Test match, while Telangana model was described as T20. He said, ‘Even after becoming PM, Modiji has to promote Gujarat because there was no brand ambassador after him.’ Reddy alleged that the Prime Minister is not helping the rest of the states of the country to invest. He said that PM Modi has given special facilities to Gift City in Gujarat, but why do not Hyderabad, Telangana and other states get such facilities?
