India’s Bangladesh tour is to begin on August 17.
India’s tour of Bangladesh will no longer be on time. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) may not have made an official announcement, but preparations for the next month’s ODI and T20 series have been stopped. It is believed that this decision has been taken due to the recent deteriorating relations and security between India and Bangladesh.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has also postponed the sale of media rights of the series. The first technical dialect was to be held on 7 July and financial dialect on 10 July. But now the board has decided that it will sell media rights for the first Pakistan series (17-25 July) and then take a decision for the rest of the matches.
A week ago, BCB President Aminul Islam said that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is waiting for its government’s approval before visiting the tour.

According to a Cricbuzz report, a BCB official said that India has refused to visit in August. BCCI has not yet given any confirmed date. However, it may have an official statement on this by next week. The series is expected to be held later.
BCCI decided after government’s advice
In view of the current situation, the Government of India has advised BCCI to escape from Bangladesh tour. However, this advice is only for bilateral series. There are cases of violence in Bangladesh. In such a situation, it is not right to send the Indian team to Bangladesh.
