After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, India destroyed military bases in Pakistan using its state-of-the-art military equipment under Operation Sindoor.
Now the Indian Army has made a big jump towards indigenous military technology. The army is testing the defense techniques of the next generation in Pokhran, Babina, Joshimath, Agra and Gopalpur at important military sites across the country.
The purpose of this test is to deal with the situation in conditions like war. The capacity of these defense techniques can be fully evaluated.
Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the Babina Field Firing Range on 27 May. During this, he reviewed the tests. He also met the soldiers, engineers and repressant of the defense industry.
The test conducted by the Indian Army is part of the ‘Decade of Transformation’ scheme. These tests focus on indigenous techniques developed under the ‘self -reliant India’ mission.
Through these evaluations, the goal of the Indian Army is to strengthen its technical edge. This initiative is also strengthening the security and self -reliance of the country.
