In such a situation, on the instructions of PM Modi, the retaliation of the army was named ‘Operation Sindoor’ because the terrorists had erased the sindoor of the sisters and daughters of the country.

More than 100 terrorists killed under Operation Sindoor

Under Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army killed more than 100 terrorists of Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen. Many top commanders were also included in them.
