According to defense officials, Akash Prime will be included in the third and fourth Akash Regiment of the Army. During the time of Operation Sindoor, it successfully attacked the target. Pakistan’s Chinese jet and Turkish drone were competed by this missile.

Officials said the indigenously developed sky-to-air missile system has proved to be very helpful in stopping several drone attacks on the Western border by Pakistan and the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

Modern air defense system

The Army Defense successfully tested the missile with DRDO. Let us know that Akash Prime DRDO has a modern air defense system, which is fully capable of killing enemy jets and drones. This missile will further strengthen the power of the Indian Air Force. This system is effective in high places like Ladakh.

The Akash Prime system will now be a part of the third and fourth unit of the Indian Army’s air security, that is, it means that now this new system will be included in the army and two troops, so that the enemy’s air strikes can be protected in a better way.
