Indian flight passengers break rules: American filmmaker and New York Times journalist Adam Elk recently shared a video, in which Indian travelers were seen taking out their belongings from overhead bin soon after the flight landing. In the video, an air hostess requests passengers to sit until the seat belt sign is closed, but many passengers ignore them. After this, a male crew member also repeats the same request, then the passengers return to their seats in a unique way.
Adam Elk posted this video with “Classic Landing in India” caption, after which there was a fierce debate on social media. Some people described this behavior as indiscipline and some called it normal. The video has so far received more than 75,000 views and more than 1,100 likes.
The incident raised questions on civil discipline
Many users also raised the issue of gender discrimination in this incident. A female user wrote “It is clear that when the air hostess said no one heard, but the voice of the male crew was reacted immediately.” At the same time, some other users called it a lack of civil discipline and called this behavior as shameful.
Reactions from all over the world on the discipline of travelers
However, many people objected to this and said that this problem is not just about India. One user wrote “I have gone to America 13 times and have seen it many times there too.” At the same time, another said, “It is not just the habit of Indians, but also in Germany and Italy.” Overall, this video has become a matter of widespread debate on the behavior and discipline of the passengers.
