India’s Team Selected World Women’s Wrestling Championship | Indian team declared for women’s wrestling world championship: 7 in 10 Haryana, Kajal -Neha got opportunity, 42 wrestlers took part in trial – Rewari News

The Indian team has been announced for the women’s Under-20 World Wrestling Championship to be held in Bulgaria. For this, a trial was held at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi, in which 42 women wrestlers from across the country participated.

Out of the selected 10 -member team, 7 women wrestlers are from Haryana, while 3 are from Delhi. Kajal of Sonepat, who won the gold medal in the Under-17 Championships, got a chance in the 72 kg category. At the same time, Neha Sangwan has been included in the team in 59 kg category.

During the trial, President of Indian Wrestling Association Sanjay Singh, Olympic Medalist Yogeshwar Dutt, Treasurer S.P. Deshwal, Vice President Olympian Jayaprakash Pahalwan and Haryana Wrestling Association President Ramesh Bohar were also present.

Neha expected gold again

Neha Sangwan of the village of Fougat Sister in Charkhi Dadri district has won gold at the Under-17 World Wrestling Championship Jordan. Neha has also won gold by defeating 4 wrestlers in the World Ranking Series. Neha’s father Amit Kumar and wrestling coach Sajjan Singh said that Gold is expected from Neha in Bulgaria too.

Golden punch has also been shown at the Junior Cadet Wrestling Asian Championship held in Kajal Jordan of Sonepat at 72 kg category for the U-20 World Wrestling Championship to be held in Bulgaria. At the age of seven, Kajal started learning the tricks of wrestling from her uncle Krishna. Kajal has so far won the title of Bharat Kesari 16 times, Haryana and Delhi Kesari twice.
