IndiGo flight 6E-6473 going from Pune to Hyderabad had to divert Vijayawada due to heavy traffic in Hyderabad Aircraft. The aircraft flew from Pune Airport at 8:43 am on Sunday and was going towards Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.
According to airline sources, the pilot took this decision after receiving information from Hyderabad Air Traffic Control. The flight was safely taken off in Vijayawada and all passengers are safe. Until the situation in Hyderabad becomes normal, the aircraft will remain in Vijayawada. There is no official statement from IndiGo at the moment.

Earlier at the beginning of the week, another Indigo flight (6E 6152) going from Kolkata to Ranchi had to be grounded after landing at Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi. The pilot felt a disturbance in the front tire of the aircraft, which prevented the flight for careful investigation.
Although there were reports of tire puncture initially, the airport officials clarified that there was no serious technical problem. Despite this, the pilot canceled further flight, giving priority to security.
This flight was to go to Patna and Lucknow after Ranchi. Passengers going to Patna were sent by taxi, while those going to Lucknow were shifted from another flight. All passengers were taken away safely.
