There was chaos at Raipur Airport on Tuesday afternoon when the main door of IndiGo flight 6E 6312 from Delhi did not open due to technical fault. The flight was landed at Veer Narayan International Airport at 2:25 pm. The flight had dozens of passengers including former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, MLA Chaturi Nand and Mayor Meenal Choubey of Raipur.

After the landing, the passengers had to wait inside the flight for about 30 minutes due to non -opening of the main gate of the aircraft. During the efforts to open the door, no signal attached to the gate was found on the cabin screen. This made the situation a bit worrisome and created a stir among the passengers.

The main door could not open due to technical fault

Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel told the media that there was a technical fault in the door. After about half an hour, the gate was opened and all the passengers were safely taken out.
