Just before the flight’s landing at Patna Airport, the security agencies received a threatening message, after which the aircraft was immediately issued an alert.
After the aircraft landed, the flight and new terminal of Patna Airport were checked. The team of bomb disposal squad and dog squads were called.
According to sources, at 12:45 pm, the station manager of IndiGo was asked to be a bomb in a flight on WhatsApp. Air Traffic Control (ATC) was alerted immediately after the message came.
The aircraft was rescued at Patna Airport at 12:53 pm. A total of 195 passengers were aboard the flight.

Soon after the aircraft landing, it was removed from the runway and taken to the isolationway, where the CISF and the bomb disposal squad took the front. The security forces completely examined the aircraft and searched for about an hour.
After investigation, no explosive or suspicious item was confirmed. After this all the passengers were taken out. The aircraft was brought back to the runway at around 2 pm.
