So far, 19 bowlers have set a hat -trick in the overall IPL. 40-year-old leg-spinner Amit Mishra is the only bowler to have a hat-trick in the IPL three times. He took a hat -trick for Delhi Daredevils (2008), Deccan Chargers (2011) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (2013). Yuvraj Singh had put two hat -tricks in the same season. Rashid Khan is the third captain who has made a hat -trick in the IPL. Earlier, only Yuvraj Singh and Shane Watson were able to do this. Chahal is also the second hat -trick in the IPL.

Yuvraj: Two hat -trick in the same season
Former Team India all -rounder Yuvraj Singh has done the act of taking a hat -trick twice in the same season while playing with Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). Playing for Kings XI Punjab in 2009, he took a hat -trick against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), while the other took the other against Deccan Chargers in the same year.
Rohit Sharma has also installed hat -trick
Rohit Sharma’s name is also included in the list of hat -trick in IPL. Rohit has rarely bowled in IPL. The last time he bowled in the 2014 IPL. In 2009, he made a hat -trick against Mumbai Indians while playing for Deccan Chargers. In that season, Rohit took 11 wickets including hat -trick. Rohit bowls off -spin, he has taken a total of 15 wickets in the IPL so far.
Balaji: Hat trick in the first season
Lakshmipati Balaji holds the record for the first hat -trick in the IPL. He was surprised to take a hat -trick in the very first session of the IPL. On 10 May 2008, he achieved this feat against Kings XI Punjab, playing towards Chennai Super Kings. In that match, he dismissed Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla and VRV Singh on consecutive balls.
