Everyone’s eyes are on America regarding the ongoing war between Israel and Iran. President Donald Trump has directly threatened Iran. In such a situation, the market of discussions about the recent White House meeting of US President Trump and Pakistan Field Marshal General Asim Munir is hot. Munir was invited for lunch.
Meanwhile, now Michael Rubin, a former US Ministry of Defense (Pentagon) officer and senior analyst of the American Enterprise Institute, has made several major claims. He said that the Trump administration is eyeing Pakistan only because after possible military action against Iran, the goods associated with its nuclear program can be shifted to Pakistan.
Michael Rubin says that President Trump and Central Command (CentCom) officials of US armies are talking sweetly with Pakistan because they need strategic support against Iran. Rubin clearly said, “Donald Trump is calling Pakistan a friend of America because he has to achieve something from this friendship. They want Iran’s nuclear program to be completely abolished. If this happens, America will have to take those nuclear materials somewhere, and maybe Pakistan is chosen for it.”
Was Munir taking a message for China?
Michael Rubin also said that Pakistan is no longer an independent country. He has become the ‘proxy’ of China. In such a situation, it is also possible that when General Munir met Trump, he may have sent some secret messages from China to America. Rubin said, “China’s biggest concern is oil, which comes through the Persian Gulf and Hormuj’s Gulf. If the war between Iran-Israel is long, the biggest loss will be to China, not America.”
Will Pakistan help or put pressure?
Now the question is also arising that if the Trump administration asks Pakistan to play a big role, will Pakistan be able to refuse? Trump had recently called Pakistan a favorite friend country, and this statement can now be used as diplomatic pressure.
Michael Rubin says, “Trump is influenced by Generals. And the truth is that more strength than the PM of Pakistan is now with Army Chief Munir. Maybe Trump may have threatened him privately and pretended to be friends in public.
According to Rubin, Iran and Pakistan may sometimes cooperate, but both are natural competitive. Iran’s nuclear program is a strategic challenge for Pakistan, so if Iran bows down, Pakistan will naturally benefit. In such a situation, we should not give even a dollar to Pakistan, because it will support America in its selfishness.
Use of military bases against Iran?
Let us know that Pakistan shares a border of about 900 km with Iran, in such a situation, Pakistan can be quite decisive in this war. The use of military bases can provide the US a strong base for monitoring and potential ground actions on Iran’s eastern border. However, even during the Afghanistan war, Pakistan supported America a lot of army.
Pakistan’s aircraft can prove to be important for attacks on Iran, in such a situation, Pakistan’s air space can be demanded for attack on Iran. Pakistan had also opened its air space for American campaigns in Afghanistan and now it can be used for Iran once. If this happens, America can get strength in the middle East.
