Israel arystrike on lebanon: The Israeli Air Force has made an air strike again in Lebanon on Thursday (6 February). The Israeli Air Force has attacked two military bases of Hizbullah near the Litani River in Lebanon. The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) said that this aerial action has been done at Hizbullah’s weapons bases.
IDF has claimed that attempts have been made to smuggle weapons through the Syrian border in Lebanon, which is a violation of the current ceasefire. Apart from this, Hizbullah is also preparing a military structure in these areas, so Lebanon has been an air attack.
The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hizbullah is currently in force and this attack of Israel has taken place despite this ceasefire implementation. In such a situation, there has also been a possibility of the breakdown of the ceasefire. At present, due to no new agreement between the two countries, this ceasefire will continue till February 18. The Israeli army accused Lebanon that Hizbullah was collecting weapons in Lebanon via Syria, which was against the ceasefire. Therefore, Israel has carried out air strikes on two military bases of Hizbullah.
What allegations did Israel make on Hizbullah
Israel said that the ceasefire means that both sides agree with each other to stop the fight. But if any party breaks a rule, then it can break the ceasefire. At present, Hizbullah has broken the rules in this matter. He collected weapons and tried to bring arms from across the border. Therefore, we took action on bombing Hizbullah’s locations.
It is noteworthy that there is often tension between Israel and Lebanon. Last year too, there was a lot of tension between these two. Israel also bombed the Lebanon and there was a war. After which the ceasefire agreement between the two sides has come into force.
