Iran israel ceasefire news: US President Donald Trump has announced that an agreement has been reached between Iran and Israel for 12 days to stop the war. Despite this announcement of Trump, the war between the two countries is not completely over.
Regarding the ceasefire, Iran’s Foreign Minister Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote on the social media platform x, “There is no ceasefire or agreement to stop military action at the moment.” However, he also said that if Israel stops its attacks on Iranian citizens till 4 am (Tehran time), Iran will not do any retaliation further. He further wrote, “Our next step will depend on whether the Israeli attack stops or not. The final decision will be taken later on stopping our military action.”

At the same time, US President Donald Trump announced in one of his posts on social media platform Truth Social Social that there has been talk on ceasefire between Israel and Iran. He said, “In the next six hours, both countries will complete their current military missions. After this Iran will start ceasefire first and after 12 hours Israel will also be included in the ceasefire. The entire ceasefire will be applicable in 24 hours, after which this 12 -day war will be accepted.
Trump made this appeal to both countries
Trump has appealed to the two countries to maintain a peaceful and respectable attitude during this period. He said, “This was a struggle that could have pulled up very long and destroyed the entire region, but now that danger has been averted. I congratulate Iran and Israel for its peaceful solution.”
