Amid the ongoing struggle in Iran and Israel, the Government of India has safely evacuated about 110 Indian students studying at Urmia Medical University in Iran. Of these, 90 students are from Kashmir.
These students, who were expelled from Iran, reached Armenia on Tuesday, where they were held in hotels in the capital Jerevan.
After this, today they are being brought to India via Qatar. A flight in Indigo has left for Doha, the capital of Qatar with these students from Jerevan Airport in Armenia.
After this, they will be brought from Doha to Indira Gandhi Airport in New Delhi by another flight. Earlier on Tuesday, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs confirmed the students out of Iran.
