Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said on Thursday (March 13, 2025), he (SPADEX) has completed the de-dock of Spadex satellites, which has cleared the way to make future missions such as Moon search, human space flight and its own space station ‘.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh posted on social media platforms and announced to successfully de-dock satellites. Jitendra Singh said, ‘Spadex satellites have completed incredible de-dock. This paves the way for the smooth operation of future ambitious missions including Indian space stations Chandrayaan-4 and Gaganyaan.

When was the Spadex Mission launched
The Spadex Mission was launched on 30 December 2024 last year. The Spadex Mission was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. After this, on 16 January, the Indian Space Research Organization successfully docing two satellites in space SDX-1 and SDX-2. After America, Russia and China, India became the fourth country in the world to achieve successful achievement of space dock.

Benefits of Spadex Mission
India plans to set up their space station by 2035. The Indian space station will have 5 modules, which will be brought together in space. The first of these modules are to be launched in 2028. Mission Chandrayaan-4 is also important for human space flights. This experiment will form a basis for repairing satellite, fuel filling, removal of debris. This technology is also important for a mission that requires heavy spacecraft and equipment that cannot be launched at a time.
