ISRO’s 100th Launch: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will achieve its historic milestone in January when it will conduct its 100th launch from Sriharikota via Geostationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV). ISRO Chairman S. Somnath confirmed on Monday (December 30) that the PSLV-C60 mission, which was the 99th launch, was successfully completed. In this mission, ISRO successfully demonstrated ‘Space Docking Experiment’ (SPADEX).

ISRO’s ‘Space Docking’ capability achieved success in this mission, in which two spacecraft were successfully placed in low Earth orbit. Somnath said that this launch was very important, because it was the 99th launch from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. He also told that ISRO is all set to conduct its 100th launch in the beginning of the coming year.

Upcoming missions and new achievements in 2025

Somnath also said that in 2025, ISRO will complete many new and important missions, which will start with the launch of navigation satellite NVS-02 from GSLV in January.
