Jaffar Express Train Hijacking: ‘Where is the base of terror, the world know

India on Pakistan Train Hijacking Allegation: The Pakistan government had accused India of hijacking the Jaffer Express train in Balochistan. After this, the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) issued a statement on Friday (March 14) dismissed the ‘baseless allegations’ and advised his neighbor to look at his internal problems.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesman Shafkat Ali Khan, while presenting evidence of the call from Afghanistan during a press conference on Thursday, said that he is confident about India’s involvement in train hijacking. He accused India of spreading unrest in Balochistan and claimed that the calls from Afghanistan confirm this.

Pakistan should look inside itself- Randhir Jaiswal
However, Mea’s official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal dismissed the allegations, saying, “We strongly reject the baseless allegations made by Pakistan. The whole world knows where the global terrorism is the center. Pakistan should look into itself instead of blaming others for its internal problems and failures.”

Afghanistan’s reply
Afghanistan’s Foreign Ministry also rejected Pakistan’s claims. He asked Pakistan to remove his internal security concerns instead of making baseless allegations. Afghanistan clearly said that there is no basis for these allegations and Pakistan should focus on its internal state.

Jafar Express train hijacking incident
On March 11, more than 450 passengers were involved in the incident of Jafar Express in Balochistan. 58 people were killed in this attack, including 21 passengers, four soldiers and 33 militants from the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). Pakistan accused India of supporting organizations like BLA, but India has strongly denied these allegations. The Balochistan rebellion has been going on for decades, which lies in poverty, political margins and other local issues. Pakistan has been continuously accusing India of supporting these rebel groups, but India has rejected it every time.

India-Pakistan relations
The tension in India-Pakistan relations still remains. Especially after the Pulwama attack in 2019. The possibilities of diplomatic engagement are low, and the lack of trust between the two countries is clearly visible. The new allegations made by Pakistan have increased this tension further, while India is rejecting these allegations outright.
