Jagannath Rath Yatra begins: grand event in Ahmedabad-Puri, Amit Shah-Bhupendra Patel included

The 148th Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath has started from today. A grand event has been organized in Ahmedabad and Puri, in which Home Minister Amit Shah attended Mangala Aarti and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel conducted Pahind Vidhi. This is a 16 km long journey and according to tradition, God himself leaves in a chariot on the streets of the city to bless his devotees.
