Jagdeep Dhankhar Resignation – Dhankhar was not going to accept not one or two impeachment notice? Opposition claims, know – how to change the situation from one to 5 pm – is Jagdeep Dhankar Resignation Result of Two Opposition notices for impeach in rajya sabha ntc

Political controversy has erupted after Jagdeep Dhankhar’s sudden resignation from the post of Vice President. The Opposition is linking this step with the absence of Chief Ministers- JP Nadda and Kiren Rijiju in an important meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC). On the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament, Jagdeep Dhankhar conducted the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha as the Chairman. In the evening, he met opposition MPs and called a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee. In this meeting, the upper house leader JP Nadda and the Minister of Passenger Affairs Kiren Rijiju were also supposed to reach, but both could not attend it due to pre -arrangements.

Then suddenly around 10 pm, Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned from the post of Vice President of India citing health reasons in a letter addressed to President Draupadi Murmu. Opposition parties are calling his resignation unusual. He alleges that Jagdeep Dhankhar did not resign voluntarily but has been given to him. Opposition sources say that Dhankhar had to resign because he was planning to accept two notices of impeachment given by the opposition in the upper house of Parliament, one against Justice Verma and the other against Justice Shekhar Yadav. The time from 1 pm to 5 pm on Monday afternoon was very important when things suddenly changed.

1 pm- The opposition meeting in the Rajya Sabha was inconclusive. Opposition parties said that they want a certain date to discuss Operation Sindoor and they will reply by discussing with their leadership at the time allotted to the debate on the issue. Therefore, it was decided to hold the second round meeting at 4:30 pm.

2:20 pm- In the Rajya Sabha, Congress Chief Whip Jairam Ramesh went to the office of Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar at 2:20 pm and gave notice of 63 opposition MPs on impeachment to his private secretary.

3:40 pm- Jairam Ramesh announced this through a post on social media.

4:07 pm- In the Rajya Sabha, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar informed about the notice given by the Opposition in the House about the impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma. The important thing is that he also announced that he has investigated the notice given for impeachment motion against Justice Shekhar Yadav and found that he has been signed by an opposition MP twice.

He further said that he is in the process of certifying all other signatures and as soon as it is complete, he will inform the House. (Note that the Chairman made this announcement before the Chairman announced about the impeachment motion in the lower house)

4:30 pm- House leader JP Nadda and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rijiju did not attend the meeting of Business Advisory Committee. When the Chairman asked why Nadda and Rijiju did not attend the meeting? BJP MP L Murugan replied that I have received the message that they would not be able to attend the meeting. If sources are to be believed, Chairman Dhankhar was angry with this. He said Murugan that why did the two leaders not tell me that they are not coming?

5 pm- The important thing is that the Chairman informed a member of the opposition in his room at around 5 pm that he has already certified the signature of 51 opposition MPs on the notice of impeachment of Justice Shekhar Yadav and the notice can be accepted, he also said that he would announce in this regard on Tuesday.

7:30 pm- Jairam Ramesh called Jagdeep Dhankhar. The Rajya Sabha chairman told Jairam Ramesh that he is with the family, is discussing some health issues and will talk tomorrow. Then around 10 pm, he announced his resignation from the Vice President in a letter addressed to President Draupadi Murmu. Jagdeep Dhankhar cited health reasons behind this decision.
