After the Gurjar Mahapanchayat on Sunday in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, some protesters stopped the Mathura-Swimadhopur passenger train and demonstrated on the Mumbai-Delhi railway track after stopping the Mathura-Swimadhopur passenger train. This mahapanchayat was organized by the ‘Gurjar Reservation Sangharsh Samiti’ at Karvari Shaheed Memorial of Pilupura. The chairman of the committee, Vijay Baisla, read the draft of the reply given by the government in the Mahapanchayat.
However, some people appeared dissatisfied with the government’s reply and they protested by sitting on the rail track near Fatehsinghpura. The train stopped for about one and a half hours. Railway security forces, police and administrative officials reached the spot and kept talking to the protesters.

At the same time, Vijay Baisla, son of late Gurjar leader Colonel Kirori Singh Baisla, said that the government’s response to major demands has been satisfactory. Baisla said that the government has promised to send 5 percent reservation in the ninth schedule of the Constitution to the Center and send it to the Center, which was the main demand of the community.
Apart from this, he informed that a nodal officer has also been agreed to appoint a nodal officer in each district for the disposal of old lawsuits during Gurjar movements. Earlier, in the day, the committee had given an ultimatum to the government to reply by noon, otherwise the movement will be intensified. State Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham appealed to the protesters to maintain peace and said that the government is ready for talks.
Due to the protest, traffic from Bayana to Karauli in Bharatpur was disrupted and routes were diverted. Additional police force was deployed in the area so that law and order remains. Since 2006, under the leadership of Colonel Kirori Singh Baisla, the Gurjar community has launched major agitations on the demand for reservation and has given a long sit -in on railway tracks. This time, positivity was seen in the communication with the government and the tracks have been vacated at the moment.
