Pakistani citizens in custody of security forces
This infiltration was thwarted by quick action of vigilant soldiers. Sensitive items including a mobile phone and Pakistani currency have been recovered from the arrested youth. Currently, Pakistani civilian security forces are in custody and are being questioned, so that information of terrorist networks and handlers across the border can be found.
Army’s vigil on international borders increased
In addition, security forces have further increased monitoring the Line of Control, so that the attempt to infiltrate in future can be prevented. The arrest of the Pakistani guide has been done at a time when the BSF has tightened the international borders over the Amarnath Yatra. Pakistan’s conspiracies are being closely monitored.
Security agencies have received inputs that a conspiracy is being hatched by Pakistan to disrupt the Amarnath Yatra. It is feared that terrorists may target this religious journey, which has made the security system more strict.
