Jamie overton made Test debut for England in 2022
England have included bowling all -rounder Jamie Overton in the team for the fifth Test against India. On Monday, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced a team of 15 players for the fifth and final match of the ongoing Test series against India.
The fifth Test will be played from 31 July to 4 August at The Oval. The entry of overtus was after captain Ben Stokes’ statement in which he said that the team needs fresh legs. Stokes himself was also seen in trouble during fielding in the Manchester Test.
The overton will be the sixth bowler of the team
Now the number of fast bowlers has increased to 6 with the arrival of overson in the team. Jofra Archer, Chris Woakes, Josh Tung, Gas Atkinson, Bridon Cars and Jamie Ottoman are pacers of the team.
