Japan tsunami prediction by rio tatsuki akusekijima: There is a lot of discussion in Japan these days on July 5. The reason for this is Manga Artist Rio Tatsuki’s prediction that he made in 1999 in his book “The Future I Saw”. In this book, he claimed that on July 5, a devastating tsunami would come in Japan, which could be bigger than the terrible tohoku disaster of 2011.
Rio Tatsuki is often called Japanese Baba Venga. He had already predicted the corona virus, the death of Princess Diana, and the 2011 earthquake-sunmi. Their predictions are published as Manga, but many times have become true. Tatsuki said that the sea boil, bubbles and sharp vibrations would be the signs of the earlier tsunami. This is the reason that the rise of earthquakes in the southern islands of Japan has increased the concern of the people.
Akuskijima Island replaced the real danger?
Amidst the prophecy of the tsunami of July 5, there has been a flood of earthquakes on the Akuskizima Island of the Torakara Islands. If we look at the figures, 736 earthquakes have occurred from 21 June to 1 July 2025. More than 50 of these earthquakes could be felt. Most shocks were between 3-5 intensity (on 7 point scale of Japan). Some earthquakes were so powerful that goods fell from the shelves. Akuskijima is a volcanic island, which is located 150 meters above sea level. Even though the risk of tsunami is slightly less than geographical reasons, the increasing frequency of earthquakes has further emphasized the possibility of major disaster.
How life is being affected
People are not only worried about the impact of prediction, but are also canceling their travel plans. Flight tickets are being canceled. People are avoiding unnecessary movement from coastal areas. Local administration is vigilance. 60 -year -old Isamu Sakamoto of Akuskizima village said, “After so many earthquakes, it seems that the land is always shaking.” Their fear is justified because if the continuous earthquakes have weakened the structure of buildings, a major shock can cause heavy damage.
What does science say?
Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has not given any official warning of a tsunami, but has increased the eye on earthquake activities. Experts believe that frequent earthquakes can be a sign of a major shock, ie, while Tatsuki’s prediction has not received scientific recognition, earthquake activities are definitely a matter of serious concern.
