Jaw broke, fracture in the spine … Army officer kicked up SpiceJet employees

The army officer assaulted SpiceJet employees for carrying more goods at Srinagar Airport in Jammu and Kashmir. According to a statement by SpiceJet, the incident is on 26 July. A military officer going to Delhi had two cabin luggage weighing 16 kg. In domestic flight, additional charge is made on cabin luggage weighing more than 7 kg.

Military officers started beating SpiceJet employees

According to the airline, when the army officer was given this information, he refused to pay extra money and forcibly entered the aerobridge without completing the boarding process. This is a violation of aviation safety protocol. When the staff tried to stop the army officer, he started beating. Attacked the employee from a stand placed next to it.

Staff spinal fracture

The airline said, “The army officer assaulted four officers of the ground staff of SpiceJet. Our employees were repeatedly killed. A staff spinal cord fracture and serious injuries in the jaw. Spicejet’s employee fell unconscious, but the passenger continued to kick the faint employee.”

Procedure to put army officer in no-fly list

The airline said, “Another employee’s jaw was strongly killed, causing blood coming out of his nose and mouth. He went to help the injured employee, so he was also attacked. The injured employees were taken to the hospital.” The airline has said that they have lodged a complaint with the police and are in the process of putting an army officer in the no-fly list.

SpiceJet has also written a letter to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, informing about the deadly attack on its employees and demanded action against the passenger. The CCTV footage of the incident has been handed over to the police from the airport officials.
