JDU in Damage Control on Waqf … Muslim leaders called PC, went without answering questions – JDU in Damage Control on Waqf Muslim Leaders Called A PC Left With Answering Questions NTC

Politics is hot on the Waqf Amendment Bill in Bihar. On Saturday, Muslim leaders held a press conference in the ruling JDU amid discussions of raising inner voice. However, all these leaders got up and left without answering any question. On this, RJD has taunted and accused of forcibly holding a press conference for damage control.

In fact, recently the Waqf Amendment Bill has been approved from both houses of Parliament. JDU, a colleague of NDA in the House, has also supported the Waqf Bill. There were reports of displeasure of Muslim leaders inside the party on this. Even three Muslim leaders resigned from the party. The party high command intensified efforts to convince the angry leaders and on Saturday, Muslim leaders called a press conference.

Which PC reached

The PC included Shia Waqf Board Chairman Afzal Abbas, JDU Minority Cell Chairman Ashraf Ansari, MLC Ghulam Gaus, former Rajya Sabha MP Ashfaq Karim, Sunni Waqf Board Chairman Anjum Ara, Kahkasha Parveen and Salim Parvez. Let us tell you that three leaders Ghulam Gaus, Afzal Abbas and Ashfaq Karim also participated in this PC, who had been opposing the Waqf Amendment Bill for the last 3 days.

‘All suggestions were accepted’

At the press conference, JDU leader Anjum Ara said, JDU has given all the suggestions given by JDU in the JPC regarding the Waqf Amendment Bill. After that the PC leaders did not take any questions and answers and went away. There is a dispute over this.

‘All party dedicated leaders’

JDU spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan said, this is democracy and how can you force someone today. He is a dedicated leader of the party and has been walking step by step with Nitish ji for a long time. But when the misconceptions on the bill are mixed, then everyone feels that the right thing should be delivered.

‘All leaders with Nitish’

JDU’s MLC Khalid said, “All the leaders of the Janata Dal’s United came to know that their leaders are with Nitish Kumar and standing with the progressive party. Our party is democratic. We are accountable to the public. If the public is happy, we are happy. Our clear opinion is that the Center said that this bill is for the good of the people, so we have accepted this.

In fact, the media was trying to ask questions about those leaders who had been opposing the Waqf Bill for 2 days, but today the questions could not be answered in the press conference and the press conference was ended after the debate with the media.

When Aaj Tak asked Ashfaq Karim whether he was supported by this bill, he left in his car without answering any question.

Shia Waqf Board Chairman and Janata Dal United leader Afzal Abbas also asked the question whether his stand has changed? He did not respond to this and sat in the car while doing right and left.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has reacted to the debate that has taken place with Muslim leaders in Janata Dal United. Tejashwi said on the question of Aaj Tak, Muslim leaders were forced and forcibly seated from a press conference and threatened whether MLC was to remain or not. Only then was forced to sit in the PC.
