After hoisting the tricolor on the peak, he faced a lot of difficulties in return. Sonia said that due to sudden snowfall, he was trapped in the middle way. All sources of water were frozen due to excessive cold, causing them to eat snow to quench thirst. They stayed without water for 14 hours.

Sonia Kushwaha is going to live outside Jhansi’s Suje Khan window. His father Harimohan Kushwaha is a businessman. Sonia credited her achievement to her family and team. She told that she was a hockey player earlier and has trained from an academy in Gwalior. Sonia has played six national level hockey matches and is known as a goalkeeper.
