According to Shopian police, the IED was kept in a pressure cooker in Kashwa Chitragam. The official said, “The IED weighing about 6 to 7 kg was placed inside the pressure cooker and the bomb disposal squad successfully neutralized it.” Meanwhile, the security forces recovered another suspicious item in the Pingalish area of ​​Tral, which is believed to be an IED.
IED was kept on the way to the army along the road
This item was kept in the area along the road, from where the vehicles of the security forces pass daily. “The bomb disposal squad reached the spot and disabled the suspected IED safely,” said a senior police officer.
