A new twist has come to light in the case of the death of famous singer Zubin Garg. His wife Garima returned the postmortem report of her husband to the police officers on Saturday. He says that this is not his personal document. To make it public or not to do it should be completely in the hands of the investigating officers.
When Additional Superintendent of Police of CID Morami Das reached his house to submit the report, Garima accepted the report. But soon after the officials left from there, they returned it. Garima said that she has all hoped that the investigation of the ongoing CID in this case will reveal the truth.
Garima said, “I personally thought and consulted my acquaintances. She said that she wants a fair investigation.
He demanded the disclosure of the truth as soon as possible, saying, “I do not know much of the law. If the post -mortem report is affected by making the investigation, it will not be correct. So I thought it better to submit the report to the police.” He also reacted to the allegations of Shekhar Jyoti Goswami of Jubin’s band.
Shekhar Jyoti Goswami had said that Zubeen was poisoned in Singapore. On this, he raised the question that if Goswami was aware of this, then why should he remain silent for so long. Garima said in a strict tone, “If someone has done so, he should get severe punishment. Jubin loved everyone very much.” ,
On September 19, the death of Zubeen Garg in a mysterious situation while floating in the sea in Singapore shook the whole of Assam. He went there to perform at the Northeast India Festival, which was organized by Shyamkanu Mahant and his company. Initially, the authorities stated the cause of death to drown, but later serious allegations were made.
Garima said that Zubin considered everyone as his family. He always used to say that we should think about everyone’s family. He said, “Today the same people are in the circle of questions. We should know the truth what happened to them. The postmortem report should remain with the police. I am sure that justice will be done and the truth will be revealed.”
He said that this case should be seen impartially. Everything should be revealed. Nowadays, various types of news are being spread. It is difficult to find out which is true and which rumor. He further said, “I have lost my partner. I cannot get it back. But it is very important to get his justice.”
Meanwhile, the SIT has recorded the statements of Garima and Zubeen’s sister Palme Borthhakur during the day. Both of them have explained in detail in front of the investigators. The Assam Police has so far arrested band members Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, Amrit Prabha, Zubeen manager Siddharth Sharma and organizer Shyamakanu Mahant in this case.
All four have been sent on 14 days police remand. Apart from this, the Assam government on Friday constituted a member Judicial Commission under the chairmanship of Justice Soumitra Saikia of the Guwahati High Court to investigate this high-profile case. Currently, the state CID is investigating the entire case in depth.
