Junaid Khan is the son of Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, he is also a star kid, but has always seen away from this dazzling life. Junaid made his debut in the industry in 2024 with Maharaja film. Although it was stream on OTT, but now he is going to enter the big screen with the film Loveyapa. In this film, he will be seen romancing with Khushi Kapoor.
In the promotion of the film, Business Junaid talked to Aaj Tak exclusively. Junaid not only talked about being a star kid, but also narrated the stories of his real life and also gave details of love life. Junaid told that before acting debut, he has worked as an assistant director in father Aamir Khan’s film PK.
How much was the first salary
Junaid said- I received money, but after working for two months. I was 19 years old and was in college. When the film was being made, I am B. Was doing com, but did not go to college. So Papa asked if you will work? So I said yes why not, you will get a new experience. On the first day, they were giving anything like this, so that I could be busy. Then when he felt that it was about to stay, I started getting salary. I used to be given 25 thousand a month. It was a big thing for me to meet so much. It was my first film, this was good money. However, I was the lowest salary director in that department. But it was enough for me.
Aryan-Ibrahim does not know Junaid
Junaid also maintains a low-profile lifestyle like a father. He prefers to travel by auto or local train in Mumbai’s traffic. They do not even appear to party like the rest of the star kids. Despite this, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan have good friendship, Junaid is away from all this sons. They have no friendship, nor were they ever seen hanging out together.
Junaid said that I do not actually know Ibrahim and Aryan. Yes, we have met twice a couple of times. I am also a little older than him, I have never played with him in my childhood. Junaid stole
While revealing his fun side, Junaid also narrated a funny anecdote, where he did the work of stealing the groom’s shoes. He himself did the entire execution of this theft. He said- My friend was married in Lucknow. The girl was of Tamil custom. They do not have a ritual of stealing shoe here. The girl was a very close friend of our college. So the boy’s father came to us and said that tell the sisters to steal the groom’s shoes. When we told, the girl’s sister refused that I did not do so, then we talked in our friend group. When the entire plan was made, the girls stolen. Junaid said that 21 thousand were found from the groom. But we did not get one rupee. We had entered the planning so much that the money was not paid any attention.
Junaid has fallen in love
Talking about his real life love story, Junaid said that I was 16 years old, but he did not work so much. Broke without walking. The one side was love. I was actually a poet, so I could never speak. My heart was broken. I wrote a lot of shayari.
Do not spend dance
Junaid told that it was difficult for him to dance in Lavayapa for two-three rehearsals. He said- In the film, DOP and choreographer shoot such that it looks good. Proper steps are given, rehearsal for Lavayapa for two-three days. Yes, but I have danced once or twice in weddings.
Junaid’s film is going to come one day with Sai Pallavi soon. Talking about it, he said that there are songs in it but I am not dancing. It has been very good to work with them. She is a big heroine of South.
