Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke to the father and brother of a Dalit youth who was beaten to death in Rae Bareli. He said that he (Rahul Gandhi) is with the victim’s family in this hour of unbearable sorrow. Pawan Kheda, head of the media and publicity department of the Congress, gave this information on Sunday (05 October).
Pawan Kheda said in a post on ‘X’ that this incident of beating and beating is heartbreaking. He said, “In the last moments, when he was being beaten brutally with sticks and belts, the young man was missing his last hope- Rahul Gandhi.”

The Congress leader said, ‘He (Gandhi) has expressed deep concern over the common beating in India and said that such violent elements should be legally punished. Justice should be found.
Shama Mohammad said- politics of hate is killing Dalits
Rahul Gandhi is currently traveling to four countries in South America. Congress spokesperson Shama Mohammad said that he has found a very disturbing video of Rae Bareli, in which a Dalit youth Hariom was beaten to death by some criminals.
The Congress spokesperson said in his post on ‘X’, ‘When he repeatedly called’ Rahul Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi ‘, those criminals claimed that he is a supporter of Yogi. This is what the government has done by the government of Yogi and Modi in Uttar Pradesh. The politics of his hate is killing the Dalits and the marginalized people.
He said, ‘Muslims are being attacked, women are insecure and Dalits and backward are being targeted- there is no safe anywhere in the BJP government.’
What did the police tell about the incident?
The police arrested five people from Rae Bareli on Saturday for allegedly beating Hariom as a drone thief. Police said Hariom was allegedly mentally weak and was going to his in -laws in Dandeppur Jamunapur, when the mob surrounded her and accused her of being a member of the gang who marked the houses with drones with the intention of stealing. He was beaten with belts and sticks and died shortly after.
