Amritpal Singh Mehrun, the main accused in the murder of Punjab’s social media influencer Kanchan Kumari alias ‘Kamal Kaur Bhabhi’, fled a few hours after the incident. Bhatinda Senior Superintendent of Police Amneet Kondal said that the police has already issued a lookout circular against him. Mehron is a self -styled Sikh radical leader. An attempt is being made to arrest him.

The Senior Superintendent of Police said, “Various police teams were already raiding and searching for Amritpal. We issued a lookout circular on Saturday. When we got his passport details and examined his journey record, it was found that he had fled to UAE from Amritsar in the evening only a few hours after the murder in Bathinda.

The Punjab Police has informed its counterpart officials in the UAE that Amritpal Singh Mehrun is wanted in the murder case. Two days ago, two accused were arrested in connection with the murder of Kanchan Kumari. Kanchan was found dead in an abandoned car in a parking lot in Bathinda. Interrogation of both the accused has revealed that two more accused were involved in the murder conspiracy.

The SSP said that efforts are on to catch all the accused involved in the case. Jaspreet Singh (32) of Moga and Nimratjeet Singh (21) of Tarn Taran were arrested on Friday morning. Kanchan Kumari, a resident of Laxman Colony in Ludhiana, was strangled to death. She was known as ‘Kamal Kaur Bhabhi’ on Instagram. He has 384000 followers.

She also operated a YouTube channel called ‘Fani Bhabhi TV’, which had 236000 subscribers. The two accused arrested told the police that they had murdered Kanchan due to uploading immoral and pornographic materials. He says that the material had hurt the feelings of his community. The accused carried out the incident led by radical leader Mehrun.
