Delhi CM oath ceremony: Kapil Mishra, the leading face of Delhi BJP, was born on 13 November 1980 in Delhi. Her political journey started from home, because her mother Annapurna Mishra has been the mayor of East Delhi and has been associated with BJP. Kapil did his BA from Ambedkar College, Delhi University and then studied MA in social work. During his studies, he joined social movements and became the co-founder of the ‘Youth of Justice’ organization.

Kapil Mishra has always shown vigor about social problems. He was one of the early people who raised their voice against corruption in the Commonwealth Games. He also wrote a book called ‘Itj Common Verses Wealth’ on this. Apart from this, he has also staged many protests on issues like Jessica Lal Murder Case, farmers’ suicides and encroachment in Yamuna.

Political journey starts from Aam Aadmi Party

Kapil Mishra started his political career with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and was elected MLA from Karawal Nagar in 2015. After this, he also became the Minister of Water Resources in the Delhi government. However, after accusing the party leadership of corruption, he was suspended from AAP, which ended his relationship with the Aam Aadmi Party.

Kapil Mishra became the vice president of Delhi BJP in 2023

In 2019, Kapil Mishra joined the BJP and started actively participating in the party’s campaigns. In view of his hard work and impeccable image, he was appointed as Vice President of Delhi BJP in 2023. After joining BJP, he became stronger in Delhi politics.

Kapil Mishra is also known for his sharp statements and activism on social media. During the Delhi Assembly elections, one of his social media posts made a lot of headlines, in which he wrote that on February 8, there will be “compete between Hindustan and Pakistan” on the streets of Delhi. His statement was discussed a lot in political circles.
