Most of the people in Karawal Nagar are from Bihar, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. According to the 2011 census, the population of Karaval Nagar was around 224,281. The nearest metro station of Karawal Nagar is Johri Enclave Metro and Shiv Vihar Metro Station. Let us tell you that Karawal Nagar was also at the center of Delhi riots of 2020.

Talking about 2020 Delhi assembly election results, BJP’s Mohan Singh Bisht won with 96,721. Then Durgesh Pathak of AAP got 88,498 and Congress’s Aurobind Singh got 2,242 votes.

Kapil Mishra was won in 2015
At the same time, in the 2015 Delhi assembly election results, AAP’s Kapil Mishra won with 1,01,865 votes. Then BJP’s Mohan Singh Bisht finished second with 57,434 votes and Shaitan Pal Damma of Congress got 5,362 votes.
