Murder in Karnataka: A heartbreaking case has come to light from Kopal district of Karnataka. In this case, the Koppal police have arrested a 75 -year -old elderly Hanumanthappa. Surprisingly, Hanumanthappa brutally murdered his third wife 23 years ago and he was absconding since then. But finally after 23 years, the police of Gangavati City police station of Koppal arrested Hanumanthappa, the husband accused of killing his wife.
After the murder, the body of the wife was filled in the sack and put it in the bus
According to the information, Hanumanthappa brutally murdered his wife Renukammana in the year 2002. After the murder, he had filled the wife’s body in a sack and put it in the bus so that the evidence could be erased. The incident took place in Koppal district of Karnataka, while the body was later recovered in Ballari district of the state.
Police arrested the accused from his native village
Hanumanthappa was absconding since the murder and was out of the police’s grip for the last 23 years. Recently, he returned to his native village Haldhal (Aldhal) in Manvi Taluk in Raichur district of the state. After so many years of murder, the Gangavati police station got information about the accused returning to the village. The Gangavati police caught the accused as soon as the information was received.
Police is investigating in the case
The case extends to the three districts of Karnataka Koppal (where murder), Ballari (from where the body was recovered) and Raichur (where the accused was arrested). A case against the accused has been registered at Gangavati City Police Station. The police is now investigating how he kept avoiding the law for so many years. Hanumanthappa may have been 75 years old now, but this 23 -year -old heinous crime has once again shocked people.
