The Karnataka police reached the cave of Ramvan Tirtha to rescue the woman and her children.
A Russian woman and her two young children were rescued from the Gokarna cave of Ramatirtha hills at Kumta Taluk in Uttara Kannada district. The woman has been identified as 40 -year -old Nina Kutiina aka Mohi.
This woman came to India on business visa. Impressed by Hinduism and Indian spiritual traditions, Gokarna reached Goa via Goa. She was accompanied by 2 daughters 6 -year -old Preya and 4 -year -old Ama.
These people were in the cave in the middle of the forest for 2 weeks. These people had built a simple house inside the cave. After the recent landslide, the police, who was patrolling routine, saw clothes hanging outside the cave.
On reaching inside, the team found women and children. The police are surprised how these people stayed in the forest and what they ate. The police expressed satisfaction that there was no accident with them.

Police claim- Woman will reach cave from Goa
The head inspector of the team that brought the woman out, Sridhar said that the woman may have reached the Gokarna cave from Goa. However, investigation has revealed that her visa ended in 2017. How long she has been living in India is not clear.
At present, the police has made arrangements for her stay in a Sadhvi’s ashram. Has started the process of taking him from Gokarna to Bengaluru and extradition. For this, the Russian embassy has been contacted with the help of a local NGO. The formalities have started.
