With this, in view of the proportion of Muslim population in the state of Karnataka, the housing scheme has been increased from 10 percent to 15 percent.
BJP raises questions on the decision of the state government
At the same time, the BJP has questioned the decision of the Karnataka government and called it a Muslim appeasement and vote bank politics. Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the Karnataka government is constantly trying to appease Muslims and snatching the rights of the Hindu community and giving it to Muslims due to vote bank politics.
Former Chief Minister Bommai said that the Karnataka government talks about increasing the quota of minorities, but the biggest stake in the minorities is that of a Muslim, while talking about the minority, the Karnataka government is directly taking decisions to help Muslim votes.
