Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of more than Rs 23,000 crore for Bangalore and various parts of the country during the Karnataka tour.
Subsequently, he will flag off the Yellow line of Bangalore Metro and will ride the metro from RV Road (Ragigudda) to Electronic City Metro Station.
Around 1 pm, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of urban contact projects in Bangalore. PM Modi will also address a public function.
New Yellow Line and Third Phase Foundation
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Yellow line from RV Road (Ragigudda) to Bomasandra under Phase-2 of Bangalore Metro. The length of this line is more than 19 kilometers and it has cost about ₹ 7,160 crore. With the opening of this new line, the metro network in Bengaluru will increase to more than 96 kilometers.

Along with this, he will also lay the foundation stone of Bangalore Metro Phase-3 project, which will cost more than ₹ 15,610 crore. The project will be more than 44 kilometers long and 31 elevated stations will be built in it. This project will make the city’s growing traffic easier and connect residential, industrial and educational areas.
Three new Vande India will show the green signal to trains
PM Modi will flag off three new Vande Bharat Express trains from KSR railway station in Bangalore which will connect many states of the country. These trains are:
- Bengaluru-Belgawi Vande Bharat Express.
- Amritsar-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express.
- Nagpur (Ajni)-Pune Vande Bharat Express.
These high-speed trains will reduce travel time and passengers will get world class facilities. Through these trains, regional connectivity will be better and economic activities will increase.
