In the case, Samajwadi Party state president Shyam Lal Pal has been arrested in the party office in Prayagraj itself. At the same time, rebel MLA Pooja Pal from Chail was stopped in Kokhraj area of Kaushambi district. SP District President Daya Shankar Yadav has been placed under house arrest in Sirathu. All the leaders were going to meet the family of the victim.
Political battle over the case of rape

The case came to light on 28 May 2025 when Siddharth Tiwari was arrested for alleged rape from an eight -year -old girl. However, Siddharth was later found to be innocent in the investigation. Meanwhile, on June 4, the accused’s father Rambabu Tiwari committed suicide. He accused the son of conspiracy, calling him innocent.
Police registered a case and started investigation
Now the police have sent the victim’s father and uncle to jail on charges of abetment to suicide. The situation in the village is still tense and the administration is completely ready.
