The Kanwar Yatra of Sawan month in Haridwar, Uttarakhand ended on Wednesday. During this time, every Har Mahadev and Bomb Bum Bhole’s Jayghosh continued to echo in the entire city. Millions of devotees reached the banks of the Ganges and took the holy water and performed Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva.
The Kavad Yatra concluded on the occasion of Sawan Shivaratri. With this, the devotees took water and left for the Shiva temples of their respective areas. According to the fair control room, this time about 4.5 crore devotees reached Haridwar in 15 days. Everyone made preparations to offer water to Bholenath by filling water from the Ganges.

A crowd of devotees immersed in saffron clothes appeared on the roads, ghats and temples of Haridwar. Dak Kanwariyas were also seen running towards temples with special energy.
A large crowd also gathered in the Daksha Prajapati Mahadev temple complex located in Kankhal region. It is believed that this place is a symbol of Lord Shiva’s in -laws, so devotees reach here in large numbers.
4.5 crore devotees performed Ganga water collection in Haridwar
During the visit, the police and administration were constantly ready to handle security and arrangements in Haridwar. No untoward incident has been reported. This chapter of Kavad Yatra was full of devotion and reverence.
