On Wednesday (August 20, 2025) during the monsoon session of Parliament, the opposition created a ruckus in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced three bills in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. The opposition demanded the withdrawal of all three bills. In view of the huge opposition from SP, Congress and other opposition parties, Amit Shah demanded to send the bills to the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC).
Congress MP Manish Tiwari said that there is a fear of political misuse of these bills. He said that I strongly oppose these three bills. Apart from this, Congress MP KC Venugopal also opposed the bill.
When KC Venugopal raised the arrest of Amit Shah as a minister in Gujarat, while replying to this, Amit Shah said that I had resigned on morality, I proved to be innocent. He further said that I were made false allegations and so I resigned from the post and did not take any responsibility.
According to the MPs inside the House, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee was shouting on the mike of whichever speaker was being turned on. When he did the same on Amit Shah’s mike, Bittu and Rijiju stopped him, meanwhile there was a strong debate between Bittu and Kalyan.
