Royal British Navy’s aircraft carrier HMS Wales Wales has reached the Arabian Sea before England Prime Minister Kir Stmper’s visit to India. From Sunday (October 5), HMS Wales has started the Konkan exercise with Indian Navy aircraft-carrier INS Vikrant. The special thing is that this time Japan and Norway’s wars are also participating in the Royal Navy in Konkan exercise.
According to the Indian Navy, this year Konkan Exercise (5-12 October) will be done in 2 phases. The first phase will be on Harbor. In which, the marines of India and England will meet each other and visit each other’s warships.

In the maritime phase of exercise, flying operations will be conducted including career strike group (CSG), anti-sarfase and anti-sabmerine drills of the two countries. The aircraft carriers of the two countries, Destroer, Frigette, submarines and fighter jets will participate in these drills.
England Prime Minister Kir Stmper is visiting India on 8-9 October. During this time, the stormer will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This tour will strengthen bilateral relations and strategic partnership between India and England.
India-UK Vision 2035
According to the Indian Navy, the Konkan exercise is a re-confirmation of the shared commitment to ensure the exercise, safe, open and independent sea and will present an example of a comprehensive strategic partnership under India-UK Vision 2035. According to the Navy, exercise will prove to be a platform for both countries to strengthen strategic relations and provide regional maritime stability along with increasing inter-operation.
After the Konkan exercise, HMS Wales will perform a one -day exercise on the west coast with the Indian Air Force on 14 October. On the other hand, it is reported that India’s indigenous Stealth Frigate (Warship) INS Sahyadri has reached Malaysia for operationally deployment in South China C and Pacific Ocean.
