This is the third case in Kerala in the last one week. Earlier, cases of rangig have come up from Kottayam and Kannur.
A college in Kerala suspended seven students in a ragging case. The case is of Kariavattom Government College, Thiruvananthapuram. On February 12, a student of Biotechnology First Year accused seven senior students of assault and poor behavior.
The victim said in his complaint that the seniors surrounded him in a room and brutally beat him up. He made him sit on his knees. The seniors then spit in the water and forced him to drink. Six of the accused are third year and a second year student.
The victim alleged that he was beaten up in the unit room of the student wing students Federation of India of the ruling CPI (M). The police have also registered a case. It is being told that there were some clashes between senior and junior students on the campus before the fight.
