Sreesanth retired from all the formats of cricket in March 2022.
Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has former Indian cricketer S.K. A show cause notice has been issued against Sreesanth. KCA has issued a false and derogatory statement against the notice association and not due to supporting Sanju Samson.
In fact, Sreesanth supported Sanju Samson for not playing some matches of the domestic season. KCA wrote in his press note, a person like Sreesanth, who has ever been involved in betting case, should not take responsibility for the safety of the players. The Kerala Cricket Board also reminded him that he was the only cricket board to give Sreesanth a chance to return to domestic cricket after the ban ended.

The board said, “Sreesanth has been issued a show cause notice against the association for making false and derogatory statements, not to support Sanju. The Kerala Cricket Association has always protected its players. Sreesanth was directly accused of betting. In 2013, Sreesanth was accused of fixing and betting in the IPL match.
