Kerala Education Policy 2025: It has been decided to include the duties and constitutional powers of the Governor in the social science books of Kerala’s school. The Department of Education, Kerala is going to add a chapter of constitutional rights and duties of governors in Volume ‑2 of Social Science of Class 10 this year. Also, this information will be included in the books of classes 11 and 12.

Why did Kerala government take this decision?
This decision has been taken after a public incident in Raj Bhavan recently, in which Education Minister Shivnakutti announced to leave from there when a picture of Bharat Mata was displayed during a program. Raj Bhavan described the move as a serious violation of the protocol, while Shivnakutti called it a violation of political intervention and constitutional dignity.
