Heroin, weapons and hand grenade seized by Amritsar Police.
State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Amritsar has arrested two accused who threw hand grenade at Police Station Islamabad. The arrest of the accused has led to the busting of the narco-terror module.

This module was being run by operators sitting abroad. The accused had carried out the grenade attack on 17 December 2024. While sharing the information, DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the police have arrested two accused in this case, Gurjeet Singh (resident of Dande, Amritsar Rural) and Baljeet Singh (resident of Chappa, Tarn Taran).
These two accused were not only involved in this attack but were also promoting terrorist activities in the country through smuggling of drugs and weapons.

Hand grenade was also seized
In the investigation so far, the police have recovered 1.4 kg heroin, 1 hand grenade and 2 pistols from these accused. This seizure is a clear example of narco-terror, in which efforts are being made to spread drugs and violence in India in an organized manner.
Babbar Khalsa International is creating blasts
During the investigation of this case, it was revealed that the arrested accused were working on the instructions of operators sitting abroad. Babbar Khalsa International terrorist Happy Pasiyan, fellow Jeevan Fauji and Gopi Nawanshariya have already taken responsibility for this attack.
These operators not only supplied weapons and drugs, but with their help, plans to spread terror in India were also being carried out.
16 accused arrested so far, 3 killed in UP
Police have said that the investigation has been intensified to nab other people associated with this module. Efforts are being made to trace other networks on the basis of interrogation of the arrested accused. At the same time, till now, including these two accused, the police has arrested 16 accused of Happy Pasiyan. Whereas, three accused were killed in UP. The accused killed in UP had fled to UP after carrying out the blast in Gurdaspur.
