Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister and Minorities Department Minister Kiren Rijiju on Sunday (August 3, 2025) took a dig at Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar with a statement on him. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said on the social media platform X that why did a Pakistani politician say, our people are sitting in the Parliament of India?
Rijiju also shared a video related to the interview given by Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar to IANS, in which he was making a statement on the subject of presenting proof of Pakistan being in the Pahalgam terror attack. Rijiju lashed out at his statement and wrote, “It is also inside Parliament and is also outside Parliament.”
We do not have evidence of Pakistan being behind Pahalgam attack- Iyer
In the video, Mani Shankar Aiyar Pahalgam is seen talking on the terrorist attack. They are saying, “We are beating the chest saying that Pakistan is responsible for this terrorist attack, but no one is ready to accept it, because we are not able to present any evidence. There is no evidence that we know which Pakistani agency has done this action.”
Scattered strategy does not lead to any meaningful results- Iyer
Actually, Mani Shankar Aiyar gave his response to India’s foreign policy during an interview to IANS. He said in the interview, “It seems that after 2014 we made some mistakes in the diplomatic direction. We tried to show a face to Pakistan, another to China, adopt a separate policy for Russia and separate for Europe. At the same time, there should be another face to America, but such a scattered strategy does not lead to any meaningful results.”
UNSC The central government did not say who was behind the attack- Iyer
The Congress leader said, “There is no country except Israel that Pakistan is behind the terrorist incident. The UN Security Council (UNSC) met the Pahalgam terrorist attack, in which China is a permanent member and Pakistan is a temporary member. Pahalgam terrorist attack was denied in the meeting, but it was not said that we are not able to exist behind it, but it is not the case behind it. Are.”
