Kolkata crime news: In the Newtown area of Kolkata, there was a stir on Thursday (6 February) afternoon when a person was seen walking on the road with a blood stained knife. Panic spread among the passers -by because the person was waving anger in anger and refusing anyone to come near. The video of this incident became increasingly viral on social media, in which the accused can be seen with a knife in his hand.
During the incident, the traffic police officer present on the spot took the situation seriously and appealed to the accused to throw a knife. After explaining for a long time, the accused knives the knife after which the police immediately took him into custody. Later, Bidhannagar police arrested the accused at Techno City police station.
Employee provoked when the holiday is rejected
The arrested accused was identified as the Amit Kumar government, who is working in a department of the West Bengal government. It is being told that he had applied for a holiday in the office, but his holiday was rejected. This made him so angry that he started arguing with his colleagues and then suddenly took out the knife and attacked him. Many employees were injured in this attack and a security guard was also injured with a knife.

Police is investigating the case
According to sources, during interrogation, the accused claimed that his colleagues had made derogatory remarks about his father, which angry and attacked him in anger. However, the police is trying to confirm this allegation. At present, the police has registered a case against the accused and the entire incident is being investigated.
