Kshama sawant visa: Forgiveness Sawant, who spread anti -India propaganda abroad, has not been allowed to come to India. His visa was rejected. The Indian Consulate in Seattle said on Friday (February 07, 2025) that some people tried to enter the consulate without office time without any permission. The incident took place in the case of refusing to give visas to Indian-American politician Kshama Sawant.
The Indian Consulate General in Seattle said in a post on X, “Today, the consulate after office time was forced to deal with the law and order situation arising out of unauthorized entry from some people in the Consulate Complex. -Despite the bar request, these persons refused to leave the consulate premises and treated the consulate employees aggressive and threatened. “
Forgiveness Sawant accused
Kshama Sawant claimed that her Indian visa was rejected thrice, while her husband Calvin Priest was given an emergency visa to see her ailing mother in India. He posted several posts on the social media platform X, in which Sawant said that he and the members of the Workers Strike Back disobeyed a peaceful connivance at the Indian consulate and demanded an explanation of why his visa was rejected three times.
He said, “Me and my husband Seattle are in the Indian Consulate. They gave him an emergency visa due to my mother being very ill but rejected my visa, really saying that my name is in the reject list and to tell the reason We are refusing to go to the police. In a video, he can be heard saying, “We are just asking for clarification. Why am I in the rejected list? Why is my visa rejected?”
Forgiveness Sawant has opposed CAA and NRC
Kshama Sawant, who was an outspoken critic of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Civil Register (NRC), said that visa rejection was motivated by politics. These are the same forgiveness Sawant who made a proposal to declare caste-based discrimination illegal in Seattle.
