A painful accident has come to light in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. On Tuesday, a person died of a current when he was trying to save his wife. The accident happened when the couple went to the market to treat teeth. This incident is of Bhaisahi intersection of Ahiruli Bazar police station area. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Ramvriksha Madhesia, resident of Laxmipur Dhus village (Kotwali Hata area). On Tuesday morning, he went to the market by motorcycle to treat his teeth with his wife Kamalavati Devi.
When the couple reached near Bhaisahi intersection, Kamalavati Devi was standing near a shop. At the same time, she collided with the iron part of the shop, in which the electric current was running. She screamed loudly and started falling on the ground.
Ramvriksha immediately tried to save his wife, but as soon as he touched her, he also felt fast current and he fell unconscious there. He died on the spot.
As soon as the information of the incident was received, Inspector Sanjay Dubey, Sub -Inspector Atul Kumar Bind and constable Shiv Prakash reached the spot. The police have taken the body in possession and sent it for postmortem.
According to the police, Kamalavati Devi has also suffered injuries from current, but her condition is now out of danger. He has been admitted to a nearby hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Local people have demanded from the administration that strict action should be taken on such negligence and the power system of all shops should be investigated.
